want to learn Korean? here goes some basics for all of you^^
HAN GEUL
basically there's 2 types of han-geul, vowels and consonants..
Vowels:
아 = A
어 = EO(O’)
오 = O
우 = U
으 = EU(U’)
에 = E
애 = AE
이 = I
야 = YA
여 = YEO(YO’)
요 = YO
유 = YU
얘 = YAE
예 = YE
와= WA
워 = WO’
웨 = WE
위 = WI
왜 = WAE
외 = OE
의 = UI
Consonants
ㄱ = G/K
ㄴ = N
ㄷ = D/T
ㄹ = R/L
ㅁ = M
ㅂ = B
ㅅ = S
ㅇ = NG
ㅈ = J /C

ㅌ = TH
ㅋ = KH
ㅍ = PH
ㅊ = CH
ㄲ = KK
ㄸ = DD/TT
ㅆ = SS
ㅃ = BB/PP
ㅉ = JJ/CC
when you find this alphabet "ㅇ" in front of any words, then you don't need to read it..
for examples:
이 = i ; yi
인 = in (as for Kang In XD)
How to arrange those alphabets?
ㄹ + 으 + ㅁ = 름 (read: reum)
ㅈ + 어 + ㅇ = 정 (read: jeong ; jung --> as for Jung Yun Ho^^)
these are all the basics in Korean..
